Our History

The Nichols Family Foundation was established in 2019 with the purpose of providing academic scholarship to a direct descendant of Rev. Llewellyn and Lucille Nichols or a deserving high school senior in the Varnado/Angie area.

The foundation will serve in memory of Rev. Llewellyn and Lucille Nichols who were advocates and lifelong residents of the Varnado community. The scholarship will be used to assist in furthering the education of it’s recipient as both of Rev. Llewellyn and Lucille were firm believers in education.
